8th of May 2014

Exactly 1 year ago I started writing my Notes to Ginny. I could never have expected how it would affect me to write a Note every day about something I learned or came across. It brought me a great deal of fun and I find it very rewarding, most of all because of all of your lovely comments and backup! <3

During this year I learned a lot of important things, and many of these milestones have been reflected in my Notes.
My favorite examples (apart from my special projects):

I learned that some people come into your life unexpectedly. Some people stay in your life all the time, sometimes closer, sometimes further away, but they stay. Some people shouldn't be in your life because they do not enrich you by being in it. And some people drift away, even if you don't want to.

I learned what I wanted from life, and what I didn't want. (Check: First Day of my Weeks of Existential Questions and Goals Project)

I learned that I'm allowed to feel happy, fearful, angry, surprised, lonely, or blissful and that I am allowed to show myself to the world. I showed my interests and I showed how my mind works, and I did not step back to hide anything. (Check: First Day of my Week of Fantasy Project)

I learned it takes a great deal of courage to be creative and make people aware of what happens around them. This is the special project I am most proud of! (Check: First Day of my Weeks of Judgment Project)

I learned that I'm stronger than I seem, I'm smarter than I look, and I'm worth living my own life.

I learned that I want to live my life smiling, dancing, singing, playing music, laughing and hugging, and I let nothing take that away from me ever again.

Lots of love,

Ginny.
